It's the third day of 30 poems, and this is a day in which I had very little time to write (much less edit). I told myself I didn't have to post every poem, just write them every day. But, I'm posting anyway... (Also, I honestly don't intend to write about food all the time. Apparently I think about it a lot.)
Three Theories on Cooking an Egg
The egg cooks permanently,
scientifically measured in a matter of seconds.
And yet, you can’t talk a person out
of how they love to scramble.
Lastly, there is the element of magic,
which can never be ruled out.
Which method is used depends on
the day, the mood of the cook, and luck.
